BUILD A LIFE

Problem

Have you ever thought about what it feels like to not have a house? Most of the people don't have to worry about not having one, but there are people who do. An average of 120 million people are homeless worldwide. Whereas an estimated 39.500 people are homeless in Spain. Most of them became homeless when the economic recession began, they lost their jobs and they couldn't afford a house to live in.

Solution

There's nothing that could make homelessness disappear absolutely, but governments would reduce the number of homeless people if they either gave more financial assistance or cheaper houses. It would also be really helpful if they subsidized the construction of new shelters all around the country.

What can you do to help?

We are looking for volunteers to work at our different shelters, the work we do there is pretty simple but important; we cook and serve food to as many people as we can.
There's also a charity cooperating with us called NEW LIFE! that is raising clothes and dog food for the homeless and their pets.

-Become a volunteer, we are two hundred so far but everybody is welcome!
