My summer holidays

In These holidays they weren't the best because I did not and do anything interesting.

I came to my brother to spend the summer there with him.  We went out a lot to play basketball with friends. We also played the console while we were at home. It was a relaxed summer.

Where I live

I live in a village in a block of flats and I have in front of it two very large houses and more blocks of flats on both sides.

Description of a place

I live in a big village, like a town, called El Vendrell, in the west of Catalonia.
Nowadays, it has a lot of new things that there used to be.

It's a big village now, bit it was a small village with many and old small houses. Now, there are big blocks of flats, single or semidetached houses.

In El Vendrell there used to be big fields, but now there are pavements, motorways, factories, etc. The magic of the village disappeared! The big change turned El Vendrell into another town.

The library used to be in "La Rambla" place, but now it isn't. It's near the France bridge.

It used to be difficult to see any cars, now it's difficult not to see any car in the street.

In the past there used to be a lot of woods. However now, the most part of the big village is a road and another road, streets full of shops, blocks of flats or any building that supress the rest of the past.

I think that it's important to build more things to make possible the evolution of a village or any place, but everything has a limit. The nature is important to the world and in some places it's getting destroyed. A lot of things of the past are being destroyed and this is so dangerous!

I miss life in a big field and without so many buildings, I miss pure life.
